About Charles
Charles Sargent moved to Williamson County with his wife, Nancy, 31 years ago. Since then, Charles has served this community as a Planning Commissioner, County Commissioner, and State Representative. Charles also served our country in the United States Navy.
Charles has a strong commitment to public education. Charles and Nancy's children attended Williamson County schools, and their grandchildren will attend public schools in the county. His commitment to education has led to increased funding for our schools and helped Williamson County avoid a property tax increase.
Charles has been active in our community. He cofounded the Grassland Athletic Association and served as President of the Grassland Parents Association. Charles currently serves on the Williamson Medical Foundation Board of Trustees.
As a small business owner, Charles appreciates the hard work necessary for success and the need to avoid unnecessary debt and excessive spending. His work in the legislature is one factor in the quality of life enjoyed by Williamson Countians.
