Schools
-Charles Sargent fully supports the BEP and has been a huge factor in bringing increased state funds to Williamson County schools. Rep. Sargent will continue to work to bring more state dollars to the county as its schools systems grow.
Economic Growth
-Representative Sargent is committed to recruiting major industries and national corporations to Williamson County. He played a major role in securing a grant for BioMimetic Therapeutics and the Cool Springs Life Science Center. Charles was vital in finalizing the deal to bring the Verizon regional corporate office to the county. Also, Rep. Sargent worked with Matt Kisber from the Department of Economics and Community Development to land the Nissan Corporate Office in Williamson County. Thanks to his efforts our children and grandchildren will be able to remain in Williamson County and work for the top companies in the country.
Goals for the Future
-Representative Sargent is committed to keeping taxes low and, like he has in the past, will fight against a state income tax. He will also do whatever he can to better educational opportunities in Williamson County.
